The Gan is a child-centered Jewish preschool located in the heart of Northeast Philadelphia. The early childhood years are both magical and crucial. Young children’s experiences have a long-lasting impact and shape a child’s view of the world. We provide a holistic education that nurtures each child’s soul and innate curiosity. Our immersive, experiential curriculum promotes social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual development.
Our welcoming and warm classrooms nurture children ages 6 weeks- 2 years. Recognizing the critical importance of these early stages in a child’s life, our safe, secure, and loving environment creates a space for each child to explore and develop at their own unique pace.
Our toddler classrooms are designed to stimulate young minds between the ages of 2-5 years. We provide a myriad of opportunities for children to explore, create and discover. Our space encourages movement and mobility, allowing each child the ability to learn independently and collaboratively.
This crucial year of a child’s life bridges the gap between early childhood education and formal Kindergarten learning. Our program ensures that all the appropriate skills are appropriately developed for our students to thrive.

Jewish customs and values are woven naturally throughout the day so that they become a relevant and treasured part of our student’s lives.
